Message from the Principal

Welcome to Skowhegan Area High School. We have closed out the 2020-21 school year and it was an adventure to say the least. We are looking forward to having all students back in school this year with a return to something “normal”. We have missed having the student body all together. We are looking forward to in person learning, school-wide assemblies as well as all the activities and celebrations. Moving forward we realize that you may have some concerns or questions, so please reach out to us so that we may find a solution for you and your child.

We recognize that each child has their own set of unique needs and our goal is to assist them in meeting these needs. We will continue to collaborate with students and their families in creating a realistic and relevant learning pathway for each student. We pride ourselves in doing our best to support student learning. It is so important to keep the lines of communication open in order to provide the best learning experience for each student. Should you have any questions or concerns, throughout the school year, please feel free to email or call your child’s teachers or reach out to the building administration.

We continue to take a trauma informed approach in caring for and supporting our students and staff. Our goal is to deliver a well-rounded educational learning experience to each student while meeting their emotional and academic needs. We wish to thank you for your continued support and should you have any questions please contact us as we will be happy to assist. Stay safe, stay determined, stay strong, and stay positive.
